I have a potentially controversial LinkedIn rule & I'm curious your take on it 😬 I only accept connection requests from people I actually know or have met, and leave my follows open for everyone else. In my head, a connection = we actually have some sort of relationship. A follow = you want to see what someone posts but don't necessarily know them. BUT every time I hit ignore on a connection request I feel bad, so now I'm curious how everyone else approaches this. Do you accept everyone? Only people you've met? People in your industry? Anyone with mutual connections? What is the actual LinkedIn etiquette here? Asking for a friend 😂 | 65 comments on LinkedIn
