A great and unique tradition continues with this weekend’s Jesuit Volleyball Classic at CHS. Loyola Blakefield of Maryland and Colegio San Ignacio of Puerto Rico are in Buffalo to participate in the nation’s only Jesuit high school volleyball tournament, which began today with community service, a celebration of Mass in our chapel and action on the court of the Bernard J. Kennedy ’49 Field House. The visiting teams joined CHS players for service trips Friday morning to St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy on the East Side of Buffalo and Our Lady of Victory Charities in Lackawanna, where Paul Zablocki ’01 is the Chief Advancement Officer. The teams gathered Friday afternoon for Mass, celebrated by Assistant to the President Fr. Richard Zanoni, S.J., in our Chapel of the Sacred Heart.
