And today’s spotlight is on ALEX, BY PROXY by author karenmynacantor! I haven’t read this one yet, but based on the inside cover, I can tell this is going to be an emotionally gripping and powerful YA thriller! Here’s what I know so far: Alex is a sixteen-year-old who survived a severe case of Munchausen by proxy (involving his mother deliberately making him ill). He is starting a true-crime podcast to tell his painful story before testifying in a trial against his mom. But things get even more complicated when a rival blogger starts turning the public against him, blurring the lines of his memory and causing him to second-guess himself. 👉🏼ALEX, BY PROXY sounds like a deeply emotional and intriguing mystery.
