Meet adoptable Stella Mae, a 2.5 year old, 35 lb brindle beauty that is the perfect medium-sized gal! Stella Mae is a shy girl at first, but underneath that hesitation is one very sweet dog. She recently spent an afternoon meeting lots of new people at an adoption event and while she wasn’t quite ready to be everyone’s best friend, snacks certainly helped make a few introductions easier. Treatos are definitely the way to her heart! Stella also has briefly met a couple of kids, around 5 and 8 years old, and was incredibly gentle with them. With other dogs, Stella Mae did great too. She is happy to be around them and did a good job letting another dog know when the play got a little too rowdy for her. Stella Mae is the kind of girl who just needs a little time to take everything in. Give her some patience, maybe a snack or two, and you’ll start to see what a sweet girl she really is.
