This is (adoptable) Founding Father Tennessee, and we will not accept any other explanation 😅 Some notes on Tennessee: Tennessee is a 2 year old, 11 lb Shih Tzu with a very serious face, a very tiny body, and a personality that takes a little time to reveal itself. He is very much a Shih Tzu in that he is not out here begging for attention from everyone he meets. Tennessee likes to take his time with people, but once he decides you are his person, he is a permanent lap dog. He also strongly prefers being picked up and carried because, obviously, he is baby. Tennessee is sweet, mellow, and incredibly quiet. He is eating well, pottying outside, comfortable in his crate, and does well being left home while his foster runs errands. Right now, he is still figuring out life and tends to stay wherever he is placed rather than following people around or exploring. He’s just getting his bearings!
