🥖🍳🇻🇳 BÁNH MÍ pho life phohoai96 secretly added the BÁNH MÍ NÉ platter to the already solid menu some time ago, but has only recently garnered attention for it's northern cousin, bánh mì chảo. In this Southern-Central Vietnamese platter, bánh mí né is quite succinctly, BEEF STEAK served up as a deconstructed skillet breakfast in a sizzling cast iron platter, meant for tearing and dipping baguettes into the butter, oil and drippings... very much like the steak & eggs we know and love. (meanwhile bánh mì chảo leans more saucy, like a play on shakshuka). In either case, there's plenty of umami in every bite and very much enjoyable. I'd get it again if I wasn't in the mood for Phở xe lửa or my other go to fav- Bún thịt nướng chả giò!
