👋 Meet Quy Tấn Lê, a Vietnamese researcher who helped rediscover the lost Silver-backed Chevrotain back in 2019. Get to know him ➡️ link in bio. For over 25 years, the Silver-backed Chevrotain was considered lost to science. Its return offered a rare conservation success story—and a reminder that even species on the brink can get a second chance. For Lost Species Month, Quy shares his story behind the rediscovery and why this remarkable little animal is still fighting for its future. Quy is a Re:wild associate who is affiliated with both the Institute of Advanced Technology and the Southern Institute of Ecology in Vietnam.
