Fun fact: McKenna also lives with veteran teammate John Tavares. 😭⁣ ⁣ The No. 1 overall pick of the 2026 Draft scored his first NHL goal on Tuesday night when the Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Nashville Predators. 🏒⁣ ⁣ McKenna took a pass from captain Auston Matthews – who he had a sleepover with this past weekend – to score his first goal. The 18-year-old also got his first NHL point earlier in the game assisting on John Tavares' goal. 🙌⁣ ⁣ "Me and Auston had a little sleepover on Sunday, so we might have to do that and have a weekly sleepover now," McKenna told Sportsnet. "It was a good time. Just hung out, had a couple sandwiches, watched some football and went to bed." 😭⁣ ⁣ #menssports #hockey #nhl
