Eleven offenders were found in violation during a sex offender registry compliance operation in Buncombe County. The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Marshals Service completed 266 checks on Sept. 23 and 24. Officials say investigations have been initiated and charges are forthcoming.
