Kentucky basketball fans have a new teammate to rally behind… meet Coach Pope! 🐎 Over the weekend, Mark Pope was at Keeneland to watch his namesake in the Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity, with jockey Jose Ortiz aboard. Trained by Kenny McPeek, the race is an early stop on the road to the Kentucky Derby, and Coach Pope ran a phenomenal race, narrowly missing the win at the wire. Next up, the rising star is targeting the @Breeders’ Cup World Championships later this month at Keeneland. 👀🏆 If you’re a member of Big Blue Nation, keep cheering this guy on! 💙 #kentucky #basketball #collegefootball #horsetok #didyouknow
