We’re not just raising boys. We’re raising the men other people will one day trust. The men someone will call a friend. The men someone will work beside. The men someone may fall in love with. The men another parent will trust around their child. So yes, we want our boys to be confident. But we also want them strong enough to think for themselves. Kind enough to make the people around them better. Secure enough that they don’t need approval from the room. And courageous enough to use their strength for something bigger than themselves.
