I see the world made of letters, numbers and punctuation marks. My most recent drawing I made with my typewriter is the New York skyline drawn/typed from the top of Edge NYC observation deck. It has taken 3 weeks to complete and is made from over 800,000 individually stamped marks. My drawings work from two different perspectives. From a distance, they can be enjoyed for its subject matter, but as the viewer draws nearer, they might spot individually typed ‘hidden’ details, sometimes messages for the viewer to find. #typewriter #artistsoninstagram #artreels #asmr #nyc
