This has made me feel ANCIENT 😭 High School Musical is now 20 years old, meaning it's the same age to us today as Grease was to our parents when the Disney film first aired in 2006. Grease hit cinemas in 1978, introducing audiences to Danny and Sandy, played by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Almost three decades later, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens became the faces of a new generation of musical obsession as Troy and Gabriella. And just like our parents grew up singing 'You're the One That I Want', an entire generation of us can still remember every word to 'Breaking Free' and 'We're All in This Together'. The fact that High School Musical is now considered a nostalgic classic in the same way Grease once was is a serious reality check 💀 #HighSchoolMusical #Grease #LADbible
