Blue Planet III is officially on its way🌊🐋⁠ ⁠ The BBC has released the first extended trailer for the six-part series, which arrives on BBC One and iPlayer this autumn, and Sir David Attenborough is back to narrate it at 100 years old ⁠ ⁠ Using a new generation of underwater camera technology, the series will explore tropical seas, the open ocean, seasonal seas, polar waters and the mysterious deep.⁠ ⁠ The final episode, Future Seas, will examine the threats facing our oceans while also sharing stories of recovery and hope.⁠ ⁠ Sir David said he never imagined he would be narrating a third series in his centennial year, 25 years after the original Blue Planet first aired.⁠ ⁠ The king of Sunday night television is heading back beneath the waves.
