Ancient Mediterranean Studies Graduate Student Association held their annual book sale through Homecoming Week. This fundraiser funds two scholarships for students to travel for academic purposes. AMSGSA has impacted many students, including Abigail Chapman, a Ph.D. student focused on archeology. She was able to travel to the Archaeological Institute of America Conference in Philadelphia while pursuing her master’s degree. “That really helped me in my research because it enabled me to work with our research reactor here on campus, and (through) working with the professors there and the equipment there, I was able to make my master's thesis more technical,” Chapman said.
