STOP HIDING BEHIND COVERAGE. 🏒 The puck is behind the net. Your next movement creates the passing option. With SFU Red Leafs Hockey, we’re working on attacking from below the goal line through direct passes and intelligent net-front adjustments. Pop into the passing lane. Find quiet ice outside the defender’s coverage. Present your stick and arrive ready to shoot. COACHING POINT: Adjust your position as the puck moves. The puck carrier needs a clear, straight passing lane—not simply a teammate standing near the net. Time your movement so the target appears when the passer is ready to deliver. Small adjustments. Clear lanes. Quicker finishes.
