You could call them the fairy-tale tenants. Imagine this: Fashion designer zacposen and ballet dancer turned actor __harrisonball__ fall in love with a charming but vaguely tired 1850s captain’s cottage in San Francisco’s historic Telegraph Hill. After signing the lease, they ask the landlord: “Are you good if we decorate it with, um, Ken Fulk?”
With a little help from the
#AD100 designer (kenfulkinc), the couple transformed the storied rental into a wonderfully imperfect home, embracing its higgledy-piggledy architecture and bohemian spirit. The trio filled the cottage with vintage finds, family heirlooms, and wonderfully mismatched furnishings. A scarlet velvet sofa anchors the living room, while a 1930s faux-bamboo bed, Persian rugs, and peculiar objects collected from local vintage shops lend the home a lived-in quality that most people take decades to create.
