Happy Mid-Autumn Festival season! 🥮🌕 I hosted a cozy Mooncake exchange picnic 😇 (thank goodness it didn’t rain). It was also my friend’s birthday, so he got a candle stuck in his mooncake, and we all sang happy bday 😌 Instructions were to make or bring a unique mooncake variety to share and everyone came thru 🥰 I made Daifuku Snowskin Mooncake at 6am day of (blue) 🍓and brewed orchid frost yellow tea from seventeahouse777! Two friends made: 🥮 pandan snowskin mooncake 🥮 thai tea snowskin mooncake 🥮 oreo mooncake 🥮 taro snowskin mooncake Store-bought mooncakes include ones from Kim Phung Bakery (durian mooncake) and Wing Sheng Bakery + more! To-go boxes for everyone to take leftover mooncakes 😌 Attempted some Chinese knot tying (it was tricky!!)
