Christine Sun Kim explores how sound, language, and communication shift as they move between people, systems, and forms of expression. Working across drawing, text, video, and installation, she creates works that invite us to reconsider how meaning is produced, shared, and understood. For "Hyundai Translocal Series: Via Satellite," a collaboration between Nam June Paik Art Center and Pinacoteca de São Paulo, the artist turns to the mural as a medium through which communication can unfold across different forms of expression. Her new work reflects on the idea of echoes, not simply as repetitions, but as a way of communicating with others and the world. Stay tuned for the opening of "Hyundai Translocal Series: Via Satellite" on November 5 at the Nam June Paik Art Center and on November 28 at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo. #HyundaiTranslocalSeries #ChristineSunKim #NamJunePaikArtCenter #PinacotecaSP #HyundaiArtlab
