Meet our hero, Maverick 💙 6-year-old Maverick was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Since his diagnosis, Maverick has faced more than any child should ever have to face. His journey has included surgeries, chemotherapy, countless hospital stays, blood and platelet transfusions, bone marrow transplants, immunotherapy, and undergoing radiation. During a summer hospital visit, we got to spend time with Maverick. He was sweet, soft spoken, and loved sharing stories about his family. His face lit up when he was describing his siblings and dogs. It’s safe to say we are well versed on his family tree! Today Aidan walked into the Panther’s stadium carrying Maverick’s special mantra: Strong. Brave. Never Alone. #MaverickStrong His heroes? He plays for them. They’re his why.
