Stephen A. Smith said on ESPN's First Take that Paul Heyman has become too likable. Heyman says a response is coming. Smith: 'I love you, but I'm kinda disappointed in who you ended up being.' He added: 'He's actually become a likable figure. It's one thing for me to like you, but everybody is supposed to hate you.' And: 'I think Paul Heyman has gotten a bit softer.' Heyman answered on X that he will address 'this comedy routine by my dear friend' and will do so 'sooner rather than later.' He also took issue with First Take calling him a manager, writing that the show may refer to him as a WWE Hall of Famer, an Advocate, an Oracle, the Wiseman or the GOAT, but that calling him a manager is like calling ESPN 'a TV station.'
