The Belgian designer took over as creative director from Hedi Slimane in 2016. During his tenure he pushed the house’s annual sales past €3 billion in 2023, and extended its Paris identity into film production. The house confirmed his departure today, and a new creative director is set to be announced. His farewell collection — an all-gold Spring/Summer 2027 shown at Paris Fashion Week — had already sparked plenty of talk.
