Welcome home, Sophie! 💙 @soph_astro landed in Cologne, Germany, early on 10 October, where her family, friends and colleagues were waiting for her on the tarmac. Swipe to hear her first words back in Europe after 237 days on the @iss. Over the next few weeks, Sophie will get used to Earth’s gravity again next to our European Astronaut Centre, with doctors and scientists checking how her body recovers after nearly eight months in space. Leave Sophie a welcome home message in the comments 👇 📸 @europeanspaceagency - S. Corvaja 📹 ESA - M. Cowan
