American History makes a late bid to win the Breeders’ Futurity (G1) at Keeneland! Ridden by Hall of Famer John Velazquez for Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher, the two-year-old son of Constitution is owned by WinStar Farm, First Go Racing, and CHC Inc. “He just kept coming, kept grinding,” WinStar president and CEO Gerry Duffy said. “I think as these two-turn races develop, his running style is what you really want to see if you’re thinking and dreaming of two-turn classic races. I love the way he did it.” With this win, American History has secured his spot in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) and earned 10 points toward the Kentucky Derby.
