Everyone is going through something. That something is not what defines you, it’s your response to the something that forms your character. Although you can never really control the somethings life throws at you, you can completely control your response. 7 years ago today, that something in my life was the FTC shutting my company #vemma down without even asking me a question, giving me a call or sending a text. Just a total surprise raid after 11 years in business and an A+ rating with the BBB. During the settlement talks 17 months later, it was a pretty brutal 2 day meeting. Before it started, I felt the need to post the above verse. Almost like I needed to remind myself to stay strong and stay positive.
