If you sit down to write social media posts and come up totally blank, think smaller.
Most of the time, when people plan topics for a post, they shoot very broad.
They’ll start with, “How to be an effective leader,” and then stare at a blank document.
And don’t get me wrong – there’s nothing wrong with that prompt.
But that’s an entire course, not a Linkedin post.
There’s too much information to share, so you can’t figure out how to share any of it at all.
The more you hone in on a subject, the easier it is to write.
(& the more likely you are to find those personal bits that make the post actually worth reading.)
That’s where you’re going to find starts like...
✨ “I sent an employee to mandatory empathy training, and his reaction caught me completely off guard.”
✨ “The marketing team presented a campaign that sent the completely wrong message. Here’s why that’s actually my fault.”
✨ “Hot take: The most effective leaders do less, not more. Let me explain”
