While many school leavers are still figuring out what's next, Byron already knew where he wanted to go. 👮⁣ ⁣ Having dreamed of joining Victoria Police from a young age, he applied straight out of high school, motivated by a desire to help others.⁣ ⁣ Encouraged by family, friends and police officers he’d met through cricket, Byron stayed committed to his goal, even when others questioned whether he was ready.⁣ ⁣ For other school leavers thinking about a career in policing, Byron's advice is simple:⁣ ⁣ "Trust the process. The application process takes time, but if policing is something you really want to do, stick with it."⁣ ⁣ Looking ahead, he’s focused on building the skills needed for general duties and preparing for a career serving the community.⁣ ⁣ Welcome to the blue family Byron. 💙⁣ ⁣ #VPCareers #Recruit #Academy #SchoolLeaver
