After more than 15 years in the industry, #GlenPowell has his choice of roles and directors. So far, his choice has been yes. Coming soon: the country-music comedy “The Comeback King,” the secretive sci-fi feature “The Great Beyond,” and a Lou Gehrig biopic directed by Richard Linklater. While he can’t confirm anything, he’s also been in touch with Tom Cruise about “Top Gun 3.” It’s a slate that would fill the fantasies of any young hopeful. But it all comes with a cost.
