DoorDash is completely reinventing the food delivery space.
And I don’t think people realize what they’re actually doing under the hood.
Last week they announced a ton of new features at their annual event.
The biggest one, to me, was their ultraquiet food delivery drone, DoorDash Air.
This thing can fly straight from the restaurant to your yard, overtop of all the traffic and dramatically reduces delivery times.
But it turns out, the drone program is only a small piece of their master plan.
I sat down with Stanley Tang, one of the original Co-Founders and Head of Labs at DoorDash.
He was the mastermind behind Air and runs their R&D Labs.
And what he said really surprised me…
