The number of humans in romantic relationships with AI is so much higher than I thought. 1 in 5 of US adults have had romantic conversations with AI. 20% already 😳 Now I knew this was coming, but I had absolutely no idea how many AI human relationships were actually going on. And if you look at the Google search data, it makes sense. AI boyfriend, AI girlfriend, AI relationships, they’re all off the charts. And the craziest part is when you listen to how the humans describe their behavior change since getting in these relationships. 10-12 hour chat sessions. Full blown emotional addictions. They’re even running couples therapy retreats where the humans and AIs all sit around the table together.
