Your AI character sheet could be wasting your time and credits. đź‘€
Here are three mistakes to avoid when building a consistent character.
1. Putting every reference into one messy layout.
Use a 16:9 canvas with three clear sections:
A detailed face close-up.
A full-body front view.
A full-body back view.
This gives the model a clear reference for both facial features and body proportions.
If your character carries an important object, create a separate reference sheet for it.
2. Using a white background.
Choose a neutral gray background instead.
White can affect the lighting and make the character look overly bright or plastic.
3. Keeping the face in the full-body front view.
That smaller face contains fewer details.
The model may follow it instead of your detailed close-up.
Remove the face from that view so the close-up remains the main facial reference.
A cleaner reference sheet gives your AI clearer instructions, and helps reduce unnecessary generations.
