Scenes from the biggest race of the year. Today was wild. So many people and an incredible atmosphere. Part of me wanted to just watch for once. But I have this burning desire to always be involved. It’s hard for me to sit back and be a fan. I’ve got to take my camera. I always need to be active. Getting around was tough. Polytechnique was insane. I could barely get through the crowd. I got hip checked by a dude diving to catch a Pas Normal tote bag. It’s wild what free stuff does to people 😂. I couldn’t make it to back to the finish line due to the backups on the bridges. But I still had an amazing day out. Maybe one day I’ll be on the other side of the fence for a bike race. If not, I’ll still be there behind the rope with my camera in hand capturing the action. Big congrats to brandon_mcnulty for taking the rainbow jersey. I’m actually staying in the Team USA hotel. The part better be so loud I can’t sleep.
