The students in our 9 high schools have access to: 12 Career Exploration Events 28 competitive teams 217 Projects (48 STEM) For example, Madison Gilmore found her love for film at North Star Academy Lincoln Park High School and turned her passion into her career. Madison earned a full scholarship to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she is pursuing a BFA in Film and Television and has maintained a 3.7 GPA. Now an accomplished videographer and director, Madison has worked with prominent clients around the world — and continues to give back to Uncommon Schools including filming events and marketing videos.
