#Repost @makisraqeem ... 🚨 BLACK AMERICA, THIS IS BIGGER THAN BASKETBALL! ✊🏿 I DON’T CARE IF YOU’VE NEVER WATCHED A WNBA GAME IN YOUR LIFE. WE NEED TO STAND BEHIND THIS SISTER! 🗣️ Angel Reese has accomplished so much throughout her basketball career, yet the disrespect, ridicule, and double standards surrounding her have been impossible to ignore. And we need to have a serious conversation about the role race plays in how Black women athletes are treated, celebrated, and criticized in this country. THIS ISN’T ABOUT HATING CAITLIN CLARK. THIS IS ABOUT REFUSING TO LET ANGEL REESE BE TORN DOWN TO LIFT SOMEBODY ELSE UP! We don’t have to watch basketball to recognize when a Black woman deserves respect, recognition, and support. BLACK AMERICA, SUPPORT THIS SISTER! Not just with words, but with views, merchandise, attendance, and genuine encouragement. Because when we stand together, our support becomes POWER! ✊🏿🖤 #AngelReese #WNBA #BlackGirlMagic
