The women were reportedly on the farm to collect expired dairy products when the alleged attack occurred in August 2024. A 47-year-old man who was with them survived after being shot and later told investigators that one victim was his wife and the other was a neighbor. Police later discovered the women’s decomposed remains in a pigsty. The accused face multiple charges, including two counts of murder, attempted murder, defeating the ends of justice and illegal possession of firearms.
