ON THIS DAY IN CHICAGO HISTORY! Twenty one years ago tonight, the final out sent the Sox through the ALDS and pushed Chicago one step closer to immortality. Now somehow, impossibly, here we are again. You couldn’t write this story and better and the road that brought Chicago back here. Three straight 100 loss seasons. A franchise counted out before the season even started. A team nobody expected to be playing meaningful baseball in October, let alone standing here with a chance to keep one of the most improbable runs Chicago baseball has ever witnessed alive. And yet… October 7 has found the South Side again. Same Damn team… SAME DAMN CHANNEL! In 2005, we didn’t know we were watching history until it became history. Tonight feels a whole lot like that. Chicago! Haven’t we been here before? Let’s Do it Again! #ChicagoHistory #WhiteSox #GoSox ⚾️
