The White Sox are undefeated in October, and it’s getting harder not to believe we’ve got a few Angels in the Outfield. 🕊️⚾️ First Houston. Now Cleveland. The South Side is making noise in October again, and there’s something about this run that feels bigger than baseball. Hard not to think about 2005. Back when a 24 year old Bobby Jenks came out of the bullpen throwing absolute 🔥, staring down hitters and helping deliver Chicago its first World Series championship in 88 years. That final out against Houston. The celebration. The city going absolutely insane. Bobby was right in the middle of it all. We lost Bobby a year ago, but legends like him never really leave the South Side. Maybe it’s coincidence. Maybe it’s baseball magic. Or maybe somewhere up there, big Bobby is watching over his boys, making sure there’s still a little October magic left in Chicago. Not all hero’s wear capes. Ours wore black and white. 🖤🤍 #ChicagoHistory #WhiteSox ⚾️
