Phoenix hasn’t shut off residential water service over unpaid bills since March 2020. That changes in November 🚨💧 The city says more than 9,000 accounts are seriously overdue, with nearly $24 million owed across water, sewer, trash, taxes and fees. Shutoffs will happen in phases based on how much customers owe and how long they’ve been behind. One missed payment won’t mean an immediate shutoff, and customers will receive advance notice.
