Busy but very inspiring days in the studio working alongside addfuel for our upcoming duo exhibition in Montreux with laurentmarthalercontemporary.
When two completely different visual languages meet, something incredible happens. For «Beyond The Surface», Diogo and I are creating pieces built around a shared obsession: surface, fragmentation, and transformation.
Drawing inspiration from Montreux and its iconic Belle Époque heritage, we’ve both reinterpreted the era through our own mediums - intricate, woven tile patterns on his side, and fractured glass on mine.
Beyond our individual pieces, we’ve created a series of new collaborative works where our worlds directly collide: pattern meets portrait, order meets rupture, and construction meets destruction.
We can’t wait to share this with you.
«Beyond The Surface» invites you to look past what first appears and discover the layers, histories, and images hidden beneath.
