She’s GOT JOY! This is Karlene, one of our dearest friends. When we moved into the area almost 21 years ago, Karlene quickly became one of our family’s best friends. She has been a friend, neighbor, and even a grandma to our kids, showing up for their special moments and remembering a birthday card every year. Karlene is 90.5 years old. But because she was born on leap day, she’s only celebrated 22 actual birthdays. She’s just getting started. A couple Sundays ago, we heard Karlene share the most beautiful witness of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The kind of testimony that comes from years of wisdom, faith, and sacred moments walking with Him. Jenna and I are so grateful for her friendship and example.
