4.5 months ago, Kenzie (Sister Farnes) was received as a new missionary in the most incredible and exciting way. Balloons, music, JOY. She was welcomed with joy into the greatest work on the earth today. Today, Kenzie had the incredible opportunity to experience it from the welcoming side as she received a new sister missionary into their mission. I know Kenzie welcomed and received her with joy. As we spoke on Monday about this new assignment, she shared her excitement and her desire to be the trainer this new missionary needs. I couldn’t help but get emotional thinking about how wonderful she will be in helping a new missionary find her way and feel comfort, peace, excitement, belonging, and confidence in the Lord’s work. Today, as we get to see their first interaction through social media and witness their joy, I know it will be an amazing experience.
