We made it to Nauvoo tonight, right as the sun was setting. The temple took our breath away as we came around the corner into town. I had just been listening to podcasts about the early pioneers and members of my church, @churchofjesuschrist , and all they sacrificed and gave to build a temple where they could make covenants with God. I so easily take for granted the blessing of having a temple just 15 minutes from home in both directions. My life is deeply blessed because of the covenants I have made with God. My relationship with Him and what it allows for my relationships with my favorite people, my family, is EVERYTHING. #togetherforever #timeandattention #howWEconquer #keepconquering
