3 Lessons I Learned From a Return Missionary on My Deer Hunt This Week I was blessed to spend a couple days in the mountains with my good friend Brock Nixon. Brock has spent much of his life in the mountains but had never hunted, so it was special to introduce him to something I love. We didn’t find any bucks, but that didn’t matter. Being out in God’s creations with a good friend was more than enough. And the best part? Every quiet moment under a pine tree, every pause in the hike, turned into conversations about Jesus, the topic we both love most. Brock recently returned from his mission in Ecuador, where he devoted every day to the Savior. He came home not just as a return missionary, but as a disciple fully committed to Christ.
