“He is not here: for He is risen.” – Matthew 28:6 I cannot adequately express my gratitude for the life, light, sacrifice, death, and resurrection of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know He is risen. I know He lives. What a blessing it is to have this knowledge, and to celebrate it during this Easter season. To understand, even to a small degree, His suffering, His sacrifice, and the great plan of salvation that is offered through Him is a gift we cannot keep to ourselves. We celebrate His life and resurrection, but we also look forward with hope and purpose, because He promised He would come again. “In my Father’s house are many mansions... I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself...” - John 14:2-3 Because I know He lives, and I know He promised He will come again, my greatest desire in this life is to prepare for that most sacred and anticipated day.
