There have been moments in our journey where the weight of life felt like too much to carry. Storms upon the horizon. Burdens we didn’t choose. Battles we didn’t see coming. But He did. We’ve come to know the truth of this promise: “And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage, and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter… that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.” (Mosiah 24:14) We testify that this is true. We have felt Him lift the weight. We have seen Him open doors no man could open. We have known His comfort in the middle of chaos. We have experienced His rescue in ways only He could orchestrate. And because of what He’s done, we will never be the same. Because He visited us in our afflictions, we now stand, more sure, more steady, more committed, as witnesses of Him. Forever grateful. Forever change...
