MEXICO HIGHLIGHT- As many of you know I have a deep love for the people of Mexico having lived among them for two years. Meeting Gris brought back so many emotions from my mission. A few hours before meeting her we drove past her little business establishment on the curbside outside their home. As we drove by she yelled for us to stop and shop….but we didn’t. After driving around the island Jenna asked if we could drive back out of town to find something she had seen on the side of the road she thought might be a good souvenir to take home. Sure enough as we arrived it was the lady who had yelled to us a few hours earlier. The souvenir was a string of shells and it was hanging high in a tree. The cost of the souvenir was not much, but for Gris it would be a HUGE blessing for her and her family. Her husband Francisco arrived to the scene and was so overjoyed.
