Hunting Day 5 (3rd Animal) : These high mountain regions are perfect for finding Big Eland Bulls. But man are they hard to hunt in this terrain. They sometimes stick out in the mtn like a sore thumb because of their color but it seems as though, so do we to them. They always seemed to have their eyes on us and were moving before giving us time to even plan our approach. It was Kenzie’s turn and she was excited but also feeling the pressure. When you have 11 other people there with you including a film crew the pressure is tough for anyone. 5 eland bulls were spotted in some very thick and steep terrain. After stocking it for some time we had to split the group up so that we could move a little quicker in a smaller group. I went with Kenzie and our 3 PHs and it was a foot race to get into position.
