Hunting Day 1 : Savvylicious at the age of 8 was going after her first animal, a Blue Wildebeest. Some may not know but I didn’t start hunting until after we started MTN OPS. It just so happens that my first animal, just like Savvy’s, was also the Blue Wildebeest in South Africa. At the age of 8 she did such a great job. It’s not easy to get an 8 year old settled in for a longer that target practice shot in rocky and rugged terrain. Our PH (professional hunter) Paul was so good with Savvy, so patient as she’d say “a little to the left, now up, now down, now a little to the right” and then over again as she got her cross hairs settled in for the shot. I love watching Savvy tackle adventure at a young age. She Trusts in us as her parents, she goes with the flow, she hikes the hills and long distant stocks and is an incredible little hunter.
