“I haven't really reflected on it. I've kept myself busy,” Secret Service Director Sean Curran says of the assassination attempt on President Trump in July 2024 at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Curran, along with other agents, shielded the president when Thomas Crooks fired eight rounds at the stage from a rooftop 155 yards away. “Is it true that you had requested additional resources and were denied?” 60 Minutes’ Norah O’Donnell asks. “I did request additional resources, and I'll leave it at that,” Curran says. #secretservice #presidenttrump
