Japan opened my eyes to a new perspective. The immediate respect and kindness, even when we were hilariously lost in Shibuya, was incredible. From shop owners, fellow travelers, and everyone took the time to connect. Japan’s pride in detail, from stunning temples to perfect dishes, was evident everywhere. And finding pockets of history, like Osaka Castle, amidst the modern cities was a highlight.
